Texas Technological College
Established in 1923
Texas Tech University was created in 1923 in Lubbock, Texas through legislative action. The school opened its doors in 1925 a Texas Technological College with only six buildings. Since it's establishment in 1923, the Texas Tech Campus has grown to become one of the
nations most decorated campi, with 138 buildings and several statues. With new buildings and new artworks added almost every year to the Lubbock campus of Texas Tech University, there is always something new and fresh to look at. This website is intended to show prospective students how beautiful our campus is and show them assistance if needed.
